Meet Brittany

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and I offer Mind-Body therapy services both in-person and via video mediums online to clients in Oregon. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Counseling. I also hold certificates in the meridian tapping technique of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and I am a certified Level 3 Faster EFT practitioner.

I have been studying and working in the field of psychology, counseling, self-help and personal development for two decades, and have taken the best of what I have learned on my educational, personal and professional journey, and brought it into my private practice to share with you. My personal experience with complex trauma is what led me to this path. I absolutely know what it's like to feel depressed, anxious, hopeless, afraid, and probably many of the things you have felt too. I am grateful to have found incredible tools along the way, and to have worked with amazing practitioners, healers, and teachers.

I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental space in our work together which will allow you to open safely to the therapeutic process in a way that creates room for change. My work focuses on cultivating acceptance and love of oneself, even if you don't think that's possible.

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, stress, grief & loss, relationship issues, food & body image issues, trauma, PTSD, sexuality issues, loss of purpose & fulfillment, life transitions, spiritual awakenings, chronic pain and illness, and women's issues. I practice from a trauma-infomed mindset which allows for sensitivity to and awareness of deeply painful experiences that may still be affecting you today. I have extensive experience working with other therapists, counselors, healers, and practitioners who are also on the path of deep self-exploration. I also have experience working with individuals who are facing the painful and scary emotions that come with being in treatment for cancer or other forms of serious or chronic illnesses, in order to provide relief and support for the stress and symptoms such diagnoses cause.

I am an ally to LGBTQIA+ community and strive to create a safe space for all.

I am diligent about exploring different avenues of therapeutic and healing modalities to further my education and training. My Mind/Body approach is influenced by meridian tapping modalities such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and FasterEFT/Eutaptics, Mindfulness, Neuroscience,  meditation, existentialism, attachment theory, spirituality, hypnosis, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and somatic awareness.
